At North Harbor we believe that engaging the world with the Gospel is a community affair. There is no way to overstate how much our partners in ministry have helped us to effectively minister in the mid-coast Maine region and beyond. Please take the time to check out our key partners below that have walked along side us in this ever-important work.
North Harbor has partners who volunteer for Safe Families for Children. Safe Families is a volunteer movement that gives hope and support to families in distress through a community of devoted volunteers who are motivated by faith to keep children safe when parents are unable to be primary caregivers for a time.
Several North Harbor partners and volunteers work with The Root Cellar in Lewiston, Portland, and Brunswick, Maine by training young craftspeople in the art and skills of sewing and fashion design. Mentoring relationships such as these are key for helping young adults and New Mainers to build community and become integrated into their new local communities.
North Harbor is a member of the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship (CBF). CBF is a Christian network of individuals and churches working together to spread the hope of Christ. The diverse community of CBF includes partners all over the globe and supports a wide range of missions and ministries that give people and churches meaningful opportunities to put their faith into action. They also provide ministry and staff resources for churches, opportunities for networking, professional development, and spiritual growth.
